West Africa Cooperatives Network (WACN) is a legally registered mining cooperative society based in Ghana, dedicated to organizing, formalizing, and supporting small-scale and artisanal miners across West Africa. Our network empowers local miners through cooperative structures, providing access to technical support, financial resources, capacity-building programs, and sustainable mining practices.
WACN works closely with government agencies, traditional authorities, environmental institutions, and international partners to promote responsible and inclusive mining practices. Our goal is to transform the livelihoods of small-scale miners while safeguarding the environment and contributing to national development
